  1. PowerBuilder License Question...

    Hi

    I have Licensed PowerBuilder CloudPro. I am license  administrator for my organization. My concern is that I am not able to open multiple instances of PowerBuilder at the same time. Example I am migrating from PB2017 to PB2022 and want to have both instance open so I can verify. When I try opening it give multiple login error. If I have a licensed version, I should be able to open as many PB versions available at the same time. I have also seen the same error when I was trying to open multiple PB2022 R3 build 3356 versions. Please let me know why this restriction is there?

  2. What triggers Accessibility Error

    I have an older application that I am supporting. The way it is installed currently, we do not lay down either of the Accessibility dlls, and we don't lay down a pb.ini file. 

    On most PCs where it is installed, we do not see any problem with this. On at least one PC (which happens to be a developer's PC), we see an error dialog pop up, saying: "Error Loading Library. Please check whether PowerBuilder Accessibility library can be located in the path." Once you click OK on this error dialog, everything seems to work fine. 

    I'm assuming there is something environmental happening where we are seeing this on one machine but not others, but I don't know how to figure out what that is.

  3. Security in C/S project

    Hello everyone!
    Do you know if it still makes sense (PB 2022 R3) to apply this security when our C/S app runs on Windows 10/11?
    I have never used it and I want to see in which case I would use it.

  4. Offline License, How to Get?

    I may be developing inside an AWS sandbox environment which probably won't have it's own internet access.  How do we get an Offline Licence for PB 2022?

  5. Windows could not connect to SQL Server after tls upgrade to tls 1.2

    We have windows based application developed on PowerBuilder 2017 and which connects to SQL server 2014. Recently, server protocol upgraded to tls 1.2. From then, application can not connect to database server and it throws SSL hand shake failed error. Please advise.
